Mexico v France match sets new Univision record

Univision's broadcast of Thursday's highly-anticipated 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ match-up between Mexico and France set a new record for the network's broadcast of the tournament to-date, averaging 5.8 million total viewers.

3.4 million Adults 18-49 (3,410,323), 2.2 million Adults 18-34 (2,165,562) and 2.8 million Persons 12-34 (2,766,631), were among all viewers, not just Hispanics.

It became Univision's most-watched 2010 FIFA World Cup™ match so far, the network's broadcast of the encounter between Mexico and France doubled and tripled ESPN2's audience delivery of the same game among key demos.
