Mexico coach Juan Carlos Osorio made a scouting trip to England last week.

Osorio was keen to visit with West Ham striker Javier Hernandez and took in the Irons' defeat at Liverpool.

He also saw the Champions League clash between Chelsea and Barcelona before getting to Wembley on Sunday for Manchester City's Carabao Cup final victory over Arsenal.

And during his trip, Osorio spent time with Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson.

The pair had dinner together and Osorio later declared: "He's a great man, a football teacher and with a great understanding of the game."
