Christoph Metzelder accepts this will be his last season at Real Madrid.

The Germany defender comes off contract in June and doesn't expect to be offered new terms.

"I have to be realistic, I do not think that Real will renew my contract. I spent two and a half very complicated years here. I am a professional and will give everything to the end," Metzelder said.
