Christoph Metzelder is delighted to be injury-free and playing again for Real Madrid.

The Germany defender enjoyed a rare start at Real Zaragoza on Sunday and he said: "I've endured a lot of pain and finally I had no other choice but to undergo surgery. Now I find myself very fit and I hope to continue playing.

"I feel part of this team."
