Barcelona star Lionel Messi has wished his former team mate Pedro all the best following the completion of the 28-year-old's £21 million transfer to Chelsea.

In his 11 years at the Nou Camp Pedro won three Champions League medals and five La Liga titles, as well as triumphing on the international stage with Spain.

Messi took to his official Facebook page to remind his followers of the fond memories he had for the Spanish winger.

"We've shared really great moments in together over the years.

"Good luck in the new chapter of your life, Pedro!"
