Jeremy Menez insists AC Milan deserve to qualify for Europe this season.

Menez has scored 15 goals this season.

"I'm very happy to be here at Milan," Menez said during a Google Hangout. "I'm sorry because we're not in the Champions League and because of our position.

"It's an honour and a pleasure to wear this shirt, and we'll try to get into the Europa League because this club deserves it.

"This year I'm happy about what I've done, but less so for the results which have been disappointing.

"I always do my best to bring assists and goals to the team."
