Super agent Jorge Mendes is convinced Real Madrid have suffered this season without Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Indeed, Mendes says Ronaldo was the driving force behind Real Madrid's four Champions League titles in five years.

"Epic, legendary and divine," the player's agent said when asked to describe his client's performance against Atletico Madrid by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"He is the best player in the history of football and he demonstrates it.

"He is an alien.

"He has made a difference in England and then was the best player in the history of Real Madrid, a club that wouldn't have won so much without him.

"Ronaldo was the star during the four Champions League titles in five years.

"Now he'll write some history for Juventus."
