Agent Jorge Mendes admits they're waiting for news from Real Madrid about their plans for James Rodriguez.

James returned to Real Madrid training on Monday and it now appears as though the Colombian will remain at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu after the injury to Marco Asensio, which will keep the Spaniard out for most of the 2019/20 campaign.

"With James, the president, Florentino Perez, decides," Mendes told Radio MARCA.

"I just want what's best for him.

"As for their [James and Zinedine Zidane's] relationship, they are two professionals."
