Jorge Mendes has been named 2019 Globe Soccer Awards' agent of the year.

At the same ceremony, Mendes saw clients Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix also recognised.

Juventus striker Ronaldo was named Player of the Year and Atletico Madrid attacker Felix the Young Player of the Year.

Mendes said, "Thank you all: my collaborators, my family and to my clients. Here today we have the best footballer ever, Cristiano Ronaldo, and the best young man around, Joao Felix.

"It is a great satisfaction for me, just as it is an honor to be awarded every year. Thank you very much."
