Memphis: I will ask Sneijder about incoming Man Utd boss Mourinho

Memphis Depay says he will seek an opinion from Dutch colleague Wesley Sneijder on new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

With news that Mourinho is set to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, Red Devils winger Memphis has revealed that he will try to find out some inside information on the Portuguese tactician who worked with Holland international Sneijder at Inter Milan in 2009/10.

"If the arrival of Mourinho becomes official, I'll ask Wesley Sneijder what kind of man he is," said Memphis, who did not see eye-to-eye with van Gaal.

"That's interesting. It all sounds so, but it is not yet official."

But the former PSV Eindhoven star says the change in manager should not have too much of a bearing on his future at United.

"This does not affect me. I am happy to be at Manchester United and the board is happy with me. I will succeed because I believe in myself and I work hard," he added.
