Manchester United's Daley Blind has backed his compatriot Memphis Depay to make an immediate impact at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils confirmed the signing of 21-year old Dutch star Depay from PSV Eindhoven last month and his Holland teammate Blind is expecting him to make a real difference at his new club.

"He is a player who can change games," Blind told United's official website.

"He has a great free-kick, a great dribble, a great shot.

"He's young, talented and always wants to work hard. He always wants to better himself on the training pitch, that's how I know him.

"I think he is quiet, but if he has something to say he will, if you know what I mean! Yes, he is very confident, but he is a good guy."
