Melbourne Victory's Nichols set for Cerezo Osaka move

Mitch Nichols is set to join Japanese side Cerezo Osaka according to The World Game.

The 24-year old Melbourne Victory midfielder was the subject of a $200,000 bid from the J.League club recently which was initially knocked back.

However, a fresh bid has reportedly been agreed upon with the move now dependent on the former Brisbane Roar ace passing a medical in Osaka.

Nichols will travel to Japan following the Victory's clash with Wellington Phoenix this Saturday.
