Gary Megson has suggested that he expects to leave West Brom when a new manager arrives at the Hawthorns.
When asked whether he thought Alan Pardew would be a good appointment for the club, Megson said: "I've absolutely no idea.
"I'm just doing this job for as long as I'm told and we'll see what happens after that. I'll sure they'll take their time and get the person they want."
Discussing the potential of staying on as part of a new manager's backroom team, he said: "That's a conversation that might happen in the future.
"I said no at the time because I'm not here because of West Brom, I'm here because of Tony Pulis.
"What's happened is a sad thing. I've spoken to Tony nearly every day.
"I fully expect any manager that comes in to want to do things his own way."
