Bolton boss Gary Megson is desperate to plan for next season but cannot do anything until the Wanderers top flight status is secure. Wanderers are seven points clear of the relegation zone with four matches remaining but Megson does not feel safe enough to begin preparations for next season.
"It's very difficult because you are looking at players and thinking 'We'll go for him - if...'," Megson told the Bolton News.
"As soon as we get rid of that 'if' we'll be able to put a bit more flesh on the bones."
