Megson happy to have Bolton skipper Nolan available

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is delighted to have skipper Kevin Nolan available.

Nolan, who while sitting out a two-match ban had a minor ankle operation, will go straight back into the starting line-up to face Blackburn at Ewood Park on Wednesday night.

Megson would like his captain to get on the scoresheet more regularly, having found the net just once - in the Carling Cup defeat at Northampton in August - this season.

"While he was out for two games suspended, Kevin had a small operation to wash out the joint in his ankle and he is feeling much better," explained Megson.

"Hopefully now Kevin can have a good second half to the season. Although in the first half he has played well and shown flashes of what he can do, overall I know he can give a lot more - not in terms of effort but we could do with him getting on the scoresheet much more than he has."
