Ben Mee was delighted with how Burnley improved defensively in a 2-0 win over Wolves on Saturday.
The home side were diligent all game, ensuring the high flying, newly promoted side did not get many chances to score.
And it was the type of display that pleased Mee, as Burnley fight to stay in the Premier League.
"They're a good side and we didn't take them lightly," said Mee to reporters.
"We knew they were going to come here and have a fair bit of the ball.
"They've got good internationals, good experienced players, technically gifted players and it was always going to be a tough game.
"There was a good mentality out there, we felt that we were going to go on and win the game.
"We seem to come out of these games with the right results.
"Everyone worked hard for each other, it was a good defensive display."
