McTominay working hard in rehabilitation for Man Utd return

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has provided a positive injury update.

The Scotland international suffered knee ligament damage against Newcastle United on Boxing Day.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "I'm feeling good. I'm doing my best to be back on the pitch as soon as I possibly can.

"The gym work is tough, the running outside is tough. You just have to do your best."

The Red Devils signed Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon to help compensate for the absence of McTominay and Paul Pogba.

McTominay is expected to return to action next month.
