McTominay, Robertson withdraw from Scotland squad

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay and Liverpool fullback Andy Robertson are out of the Scotland squad.

Two of the most high profile players in the team are not available for their upcoming matches against Cyprus and Kazakhstan.

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser is another absentee. Kieran Tierney is still recovering from a hip problem, meaning it will be a makeshift Scotland side.

The Scots can only qualify for Euro 2020 through the UEFA Nations League play-offs, which happen in March.

Manager Steve Clarke will be hoping the players at his disposal are good enough to get past the opposition in these coming games.
