McTominay flattered by Neville comparing him to Man Utd legends Scholes & Keane

Scott McTominay was flattered after hearing Gary Neville state he was a mixture of Manchester United legends Roy Keane and Paul Scholes.

Neville played alongside both midfielders during the club's successful period under Sir Alex Ferguson.

McTominay scored twice in two minutes in the 6-2 win over Leeds United on Sunday, with his performance bringing about praise from Neville.

Asked if he liked the comparison, the Scotsman told MUTV: "Well, obviously.

"You're just on the pitch to do your job and I don't want to get too carried away.

"It's nice obviously to score two goals and the team doing a really good job."
