Gary McSheffrey hasn't shut the door on staying with Birmingham City.

Earlier this season the winger was ready to quit St Andrews for a Championship move.

"I want to play more, of course," he told the Birmingham Mail. "Coming on for ten minutes here or there, ask anyone, it's not really good enough.

''But it's a better situation than I was in back in August when they were looking to off-load me. So at least it is going in the right direction."
