Derek McInnes has praised Aberdeen for making it to Europe in the same season as winning the League Cup.
The Dons have secured a top-three finish in the Scottish Premiership despite losing 5-2 to Celtic on the weekend which at least puts them into Europa League qualifying.
Aberdeen also clinched their first trophy since 1996 when winning the League Cup in March and the efforts of the squad have been praised by manager McInnes.
"It's brilliant," McInnes said. "If you said at the start of the campaign we would have a cup in the bag and be back in Europe, we would all have been grabbing that.
"The players should be really pleased with their efforts and it's testament to how hard they have worked this season. So that's another box ticked and we've got two games now to grab second spot."
