Scotland assistant coach Mark McGhee rates Hull City goalkeeper Allan McGregor ahead of Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny.
He also sees Cardiff City's David Marshall as being superior to Southampton keeper Artur Boruc.
Asked about the strength of the Polish options, McGhee said: "I would take either of those two (Boruc and Szczesny). But, no, I wouldn't swap either of our two goalkeepers for any of their two.
"I think Allan has been fantastic. When we arrived in this job - and remember it has only been a year - the feeling was probably that Marsh was here to support Allan. That has changed in a year.
"I think Marsh is now here to genuinely challenge Allan - and that's not even mentioning Matt Gilks. He has done alright as well.
"Marsh has now become a serious, serious contender. However, I don't think Allan has done anything wrong. I'm talking here from my perspective - not what Gordon (Strachan) has reported to me.
"My personal opinion would be that something has to go wrong with Allan before he is displaced. Of course the manager has a decision to make. But I think Allan is maybe making sure he is holding Marsh at bay a wee bit because of his own performances."
