Celtic are in desperate need of a win this weekend if they are any chance of getting back in the Scottish Premier League title race.
They are the sentiments of Australian striker Scott McDonald ahead of this weekend's clash with Hamilton Academical at New Douglas Park.
The Hoops slumped to their fourth defeat on Wednesday when they were beaten at home by Hibernian 2-1 - a loss that saw them fall 10 points behind title rivals Rangers and only two clear of Hibs who are third.
McDonald is well aware that this weekend is vitally important for Celtic if they are to be any chance of winning this season's premiership.
"We know we have to start putting some wins together otherwise they (Rangers) are going to get away from us," McDonald told tribalfootball.com.
"The loss midweek was very disappointing and all the players and the coaching staff are determined to turn it around and get ourselves back in the race for the title."
The match will be shown LIVE on Setanta Sports this Saturday night at 11:30pm and precedes the Rangers versus Falkirk match.
