Rangers manager Ally McCoist has admitted his delight at again getting the chance to work with the great Walter Smith.
The multi-title winning gaffer is back at Ibrox in a non-executive directors role just 18 months after retiring as manager and McCoist is thrilled to have him back involved as the Glasgow giants look to return to former glories.
"I am delighted to see Walter involved in the club again," said McCoist who worked under Smith when assistant over the last few years.
"He brings such tremendous experience. He's done it all and is a Gers man through and through. His presence will be a huge benefit to the club.
"I also support Ian Hart's appointment to the board as he has done a lot for the youth squad over the years."
