Ally McCoist doesn't believe Chris Wilder will join Celtic.

Wilder left Sheffield United last week by mutual consent with the languishing at the bottom of the Premier League table.

But Rangers and Scotland legend McCoist believes Celtic already identified their manager targets before Wilder became available.

Asked about Wilder joining the Bhoys on talkSPORT, McCoist claimed: "I never even thought about that, mate... you've thrown that one at me! No, I don't think so.

"I tell you why, because I think Celtic are probably further down the line with somebody prior to Chris Wilder losing his job at Sheffield United."
