Nottingham Forest boss Steve McClaren is bringing Andy Reid back to the City Ground.

The Mail on Sunday says McClaren hopes to sign the midfielder on a Bosman in the coming days.

Sunderland midfielder Reid spent the second-half of last season on-loan at Blackpool.

The Irishman left Forest for Tottenham.
