Southampton shot stopper Alex McCarthy is ready to sign a new contract at the club.
The 31-year-old is out of contract in the summer of 2022, but there is a suggestion that he will be offered a new deal.
According to the Daily Echo, McCarthy's new deal is one that could be announced very soon, with CEO Martin Semmens hinting that a few contracts may be sorted in the coming weeks.
Asked about his future, McCarthy said: "Obviously, I am happy here.
"I am happy at the moment and I am enjoying my football."
McCarthy added: "When the right time comes I will sit down with the club and speak about it.
"When the time is right, we will go from there. At the moment, I am really enjoying playing regular football."
