Stuart McCall says he is no hurry to sign a new contract with Motherwell.
The Well boss comes out of contract at the end of the season but he is prepared to wait for an offer from club officials before penning a new Fir Park deal.
"It's not a case of me putting anything off or stalling," he insisted.
"Once the club come up with an offer I'm sure my representatives will look at it.
"I was like this as a player, I never felt any great urgency about contracts. I always felt if I did well I'd get a new one, and if I didn't I'd be on my way.
"In my mind I've five months to run and I'm sure we'll sit down to discuss it. Leanne Dempster and Derek Weir have been very up front with me the whole time I've been at the club."
