James McArthur admits he enjoys playing in front of Crystal Palace's home support.
The Scot struck in their 1-1 draw with Stoke City on Saturday.
"I have settled in really well - the manager and the fans have been brilliant," he told the Croydon Advertiser.
"The fans do it every week for us and they're going to be needed in the future. We need to keep our performance level high and they help us so much when times are hard.
"Recently we've been conceding goals and getting back into games and picking up points. I think the fans are a big part of that as well.
"I've always had a great relationship with the fans that I've been with. The Palace fans here are very, very loud.
"They're very rowdy and noisy. They're like Wigan Athletic, in a sense that they're a family club."
