McArthur determined to keep Palace place

Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur hopes to keep his place.

Mile Jedinak has returned from Asian Cup duty with Australia.

McArthur said: "He [Jedinak] is the skipper, he is the leader, but the manager has got a decision to make.

"All every player can do is keep playing well and trying to make it hard for the manager to leave him out.

"You just need to keep playing well and trying to stay in the team. We have got a great squad and competition for places can only be good for the team."
