PSG striker Kylian Mbappe is driving a deal for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
Le 10 Sport says Mbappe and football advisor Luis Campos are both pushing to reunite with Silva, 28, following their time together with AS Monaco.
The playmaker was linked with a move away from City last summer, with Barcelona thought to be leading the race to sign him, but PSG have seemingly now emerged as the new front-runners.
He had been lined up by the Spanish club as a replacement for Frenkie de Jong, who was the subject of a transfer saga of his own last summer, but with no move eventually materialising for the Dutchman Silva remained in Manchester for a sixth season.
Silva aspires to take up a new challenge having won 11 trophies in a hugely successful six-year stay at the Etihad.
He said last summer of a potential departure: "I've always said that I'm happy here, but I have no idea what's going to happen. We'll see, honestly.
"My relationship with the club is very honest. I've been open with them and they know what I want."
