Maxwel Cornet is loving life with Burnley.

The Ivory Coast international, signed from Lyon in the summer, broke his scoring duck with a brace against Southampton on Monday.

"I am really enjoying it, I am here to play good games, good pitch, enjoy with my partner and win," said Cornet after the 2-2 draw.

"We are going to start our season now," he said.

"I am going to work hard to score more and more goals for the team and my teammates."

"I am very happy but today it is about the result, we are disappointed about that.

"We are going to continue to deliver to do better next time. We can do better."
