Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez is being urged to reject West Ham.

Maxi's former coach, Defensor Sporting boss Eduardo Acevedo, says he should choose Valencia over the Irons. Both clubs have tabled offers to Celta.

"It will go better for him at Valencia, which is a big club; not so much in the Premier League," said Acevedo.

Daniel Wass has also recommended Valencia to Gomez.

They happen to share an agent, plus they used to play together at Celta.
