Mauricio Pellegrino has agreed to leave Leganes as coach by mutual consent.
The Argentine took training on Monday before telling his players that he would be leaving his post.
Pellegrino guided Leganes to 13th place in LaLiga Santander last season but the Madrid side are yet to win a league game this campaign.
Francisco is the favourite to replace Pellegrino at Butarque, but Luis Cembranos will take charge of the first team for the time being.
