Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi admits he's been surprised seeing Cristiano Ronaldo at work this season.

Matuidi is amazed by Ronaldo's day-to-day professionalism.

He said: "He represents a lot of values, talent first and mentality too. He never lets go of anything. When the team does the job and plays its role, it's easier.

"We are in a club where we work a lot. But seeing how he works is an example for everyone. We learn every day with him. He pays attention to what he eats, he pays attention to his body, he knows exactly when he should rest and when he should do more.

"He is a player apart, the best player I've played with."
