Former France star Blaise Matuidi believes Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante can still be valuable to Les Bleus.
Kante made a successful playing return in a friendly last week after undergoing hamstring surgery before Christmas. Matuidi also insists Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba can still have a role.
Matuidi said, "Adrien (Rabiot) is having a great season with Juventus, (Aurelien) Tchouaméni has done good things at Real Madrid even if it's more difficult at the moment. But he remains young and has a lot of qualities.
"There is the next generation but I think there is still a huge pool. We must not bury either N'Golo and Paul (Pogba) who are major players in this France team. We have what it takes to get good results, that's for sure."
