Newcastle United midfielder Matty Longstaff has made his return to the team.
The 20-year-old was frozen out for roughly two months, but finally appeared for the reserves against Sunderland.
Longstaff has not played since the 3-0 loss to Arsenal.
He was involved in the Premier League 2 game with Sunderland, where Newcastle's under-23s got a 1-1 draw.
According to Chronicle Live, it means Longstaff may be involved in first team duties in the coming weeks.
