German legend Lothar Matthaus has told Mario Gotze to be realistic about his next move.
It's emerged Gotze and Borussia Dortmund have agreed to part ways at the end of the season as he comes off contract.
BILD says the likes of West Ham, Leicester City and Arsenal are all in contact with the World Cup winner.
But Matthaus warned on Sky Deutschland: "I think he has to bake small rolls - both in terms of the next club and from the salary point of view.
"Top clubs will not be waiting for Mario Götze."
Gotze's current deal with BVB is worth €190,000-a-week.
