Liverpool defender Joel Matip admits the humour of manager Jurgen Klopp sometimes goes over the heads of his players.
Matip was brought to the club by Klopp three years ago from Schalke.
He recalled to 11Freunde: "Occasionally I'm the only one in the dressing room who understands his jokes right away. I sit outside and see the others thinking about it.
"For example, when the coach says: 'It wasn't the yellow from the egg', which means: 'It wasn't exactly amazing', only the assistant coach (Peter Krawietz) and me burst out laughing.
"Then I have to explain to the others what the sentences mean..."
