Former Arsenal and Crystal Palace midfielder Mathieu Flamini is trialling with Getafe.

Marca says Flamini has been on trial with the La Liga club in the hope of winning a contract.

The former Gunners star, 33, has been training with the club in the last month trying to impress Jose Bordalas.

Getafe are having a brilliant season having won promotion from the Segunda Division last term.

At the halfway stage of the campaign - with Spanish teams on their winter break - Los Azulones are sitting pretty in eighth.
