Matheus Fernandes expects to do preseason with Barcelona.

Signed from Palmeiras in January, Matheus was immediately loaned to Real Valladolid, though is yet to make his debut.

He said, "I do not usually say that I am prepared, I prefer to say that I am preparing every day.

"When I get to Barcelona there will be a preseason phase, I will meet the players there and we will see what happens. I think I have the potential to play in a great team, but every day I have something new to learn.

"Playing with the best in the world is priceless. I can't wait to get there, but I'm trying to get that out of my mind. I still have to finish my season here."
