Burnley matchwinner Ashley Barnes hailed their team spirit for victory at Huddersfield.
The importance of the victory was lost on no-one as the Clarets also finished the game a man short following Robbie Brady's 90th-minute dismissal.
“You could see it in the boys' faces at the end," said Barnes, whose fifth goal of the campaign left him level with Chris Wood after his strike partner had scored a first-half equaliser.
“We had to dig deep there when we were down to 10 as well and we did that. It was fantastic.
“It was a massive win. Back-to-back wins is a great feeling. We haven't had that for a while and it was good to give the fans something to cheer about and go home happy.
“They come out in their numbers. They were singing all night and they helped us along the way."
