Everton defender Mason Holgate insists they can dream of glory, after marching into the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup.

The defender was the hero as he scored his first ever Blues goal to kill off Watford on Tuesday.

The England U21 is looking beyond his own personal milestone, with the Goodison club in the draw for the last eight, and looking to progress further.

“With the team that we have got, we know on any given day we can cause any team a problem," he explained.

“All the time I have been here I haven't been in a quarter final, and the boys are looking forward to it, we feel we are getting stronger. We are really looking forward to it, it doesn't come around too often, and we want to make the most of it."
