Wigan boss Roberto Martinez admits it could be the New Year before the wholesale changes he has been making to the squad settle down. Martinez said: "I always feel six months is what you need to allow the players to settle in.
"They also need to understand what is the best way to approach games at this level.
"We have brought in a lot of players with no experience of this league, so they have to adjust.
"I have to praise them because they are showing the right attitude. What we have to do now is try to eradicate our inconsistency."
