Real Madrid players are furious with the antics of Gareth Bale on Sunday, it has been revealed.

Bale sparked controversy when shrugging off Lucas Vazquez's attempts to congratulate him after scoring in victory at Levante on Sunday.

Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito, revealed Bale is becoming a figure of fun amongst his teammates.

He stated: "Bale goes through the confessional as the only person who speaks to him in the dressing room is (Luka) Modric.

"Bale behaves like a former player. He is a former Madrid player and already knows that he will leave on June 30.

"He has two nicknames 'the golfer' and 'the Martian'.

"Some players have suggested that he be punished for the gesture with a teammate (Vazquez). The best friend of Ramos in the locker room is Lucas Vázquez, so the gesture has not gone down well.

"It also bothers them (the players) that he escapes from the (fitness coach Anton) Pintus exercises, alleging physical discomfort. He is too often missing."
