Anthony Martial must accept a major pay-cut to leave Manchester United this summer.
The Daily Star says the Frenchman is currently on loan with Spanish outfit Sevilla. He is expected to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season after a disappointing spell there.
United value Martial at £35million but are prepared to listen to offers of around £25m – as long as the player agrees to compromise on any payments due to him in his contract. He earns around £11million annually and still has two years left to run on that bumper package.
If United decided to sell him, Martial, 26, is likely to demand a significant amount of that cash.
However, with no clubs willing to pay United's top price, along with Martial's £240,000 salary, it appears both parties have little option but to strike a deal that allows them to go their separate ways.
