Manchester United had to pay out a massive sum for Anthony Martial's most recent goal against Newcastle.

Martial scored the equaliser as United fought back from 0-2 down to win 3-2 at home against the Magpies before the international break.

The French striker's goal was his 25th in the Premier League.

It triggered a clause in his contract that gives his old club Monaco £7.2 million.

United could owe Monaco even more money if Martial plays 8 more games for France or wins the Ballon d'Or before 2019.
