Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny feared for his place over the summer. The Pole admits rumours of Arsenal moving for Cardiff City keeper David Marshall had him worried.
He said: "He was one of the best keepers in the Premiership last season and I was worried he would take my place if he joined us. It was that simple.
"I heard rumours he was going to sign for Arsenal and I don't mind admitting I definitely wasn't looking forward to that happening."
