Olympique Marseille are being encouraged to move for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.

But! pundit Denis Balbir says Giroud is a better option for OM ahead of Nice striker Mario Balotelli.

Balbir declared: "The track for Balotelli is dragging out, we start talking about Olivier Giroud at OM. For me, he's an attractive track.

"He is a World Champion, a player appreciated by executives like Florian Thauvin and Adil Rami.

"In my opinion, he is a bet less risky than Mario Balotelli. Giroud is still calmer and less fantastic. He may be easier to manage than the Italian. Who knows, maybe OM will do both? In any case, it would seem very surprising to me."
