Marseille striker Gignac to wait for West Ham manager

Andre-Pierre Gignac will reportedly wait until West Ham United have appointed a new manager before making a decision on his future.

The 29-year old striker is out of contract at Marseille this summer and is looking to leave the Stade Velodrome despite scoring 21 Ligue 1 goals last season.

The Hammers have been heavily linked with Gignac but according to the Daily Mirror, he will wait to see who the east London club appoint as Sam Allardyce's replacement.

Marseille manager Marcelo Bielsa is high on West Ham's wish-list and if they capture him, Gignac is likely to follow.

Gignac is also believed to be on the radar of West Bromwich Albion, Southampton, Stoke City and Newcastle United.
